"The Rain Pod" is an umbrella with integrated iPod. It's created by Spokane artist Tom Dukich and is part of the Design Commission's "Chance of Showers" exhibition and silent auction to benefit 826 Seattle, a nonprofit writing center that helps students, ages six to 18, develop their creative and expository writing skills.The umbrella is 50" in diameter with built-in music software and speakers and painted with permanent markers.
It's up for auction on eBay with a starting bid of $50.
