
The M880 has 2GB capacity and supports MP3, WMA, APE, FLAC audio and RMVB, RM video. Battery times are 25 hours for audio and 7 hours for video.
Just how much better is HVGA to QVGA? Check the images below. The first image (Dakota Blue Richards from the film "The Golden Compass") shows playback on a 2.6-inch screen. The screen is too narrow. The third figure shows the M880 with 3-inch HVGA screen. It uses the screen area effectively. The second figure illustrates that ordinary QVGA images are 1.5 times larger than HVGA (figure 1) but there is no guarantee that the 16:9 images will not be deformed. The last figure shows a QVGA widescreen (usually referred to as pseudo-widescreen) image. Since it extends pitch to give the widescreen effect results in a deformed image.
