Samsung Electronics announced the launch of the i200 smartphone. The compact bar-type cellphone features a 2.3-inch 320 x 240 pixel TFT screen, HSDPA 3.6 Mbps data communications, a 2-megapixel camera, and a music player. The i200 runs Windows Mobile 6.1. Users can operate MS Office programs such as Excel, Word, Powerpoint, and Outlook. The phone offers HTML format email, easy editing (cut, copy and paste), and unified email and SMS/MMS management. Automatic pop-ups notify users when they get email.
