I've had my Samsung Gear S2 for almost a year now (connected to my Samsung Galaxy S6). I love it!
With Samsung's recent Second Gear S2 Value Pack, it's like having a new watch! And with it's lower price as compared to the Gear S3, it's still in the running.
It alerts me to incoming messages, upcoming appointments and important dates, helps me navigate, and shows weather info. It reminds me to get up and move if I've been inactive too long and even shows me stretches to do while sitting. It counts my steps and keeps track of my exercise. Oh... and it displays the time and date, too, with a myriad of watch faces. My current watch face (and obsession) is displayed at right.
It's a little bulky but I've gotten used to its size.
Do you have a smart watch? Tell me about it. :)
Welcome...

"Green" Cellphones: Samsung W510 and F268
Samsung announced two new cellphones - the W510 and the F268 - at the World IT Show in Seoul. Instead of touting performance specifications however, the company is concentrating on the reduced environmental damage of their cellphones. The W510 (left) is said to be Samsung's first built with "bioplastic," eschewing synthetic materials for those extracted from corn. The phone is further said to have been built without heavy metals such as mercury or cadmium, and use a water-soluble coating. It will ship later this month to Korea.
The F268 is made predominantly out of traditional plastics, but neither it nor any of its accessories are made with PVC or brominated flame retardants (BFRs). Apple's use of these in the original iPhone was sharply criticized by groups such as Greenpeace. The F268 comes with a charging alarm, which will indicate when a phone is fully charged so that owners do not waste power. It will ship later this month to China.

Taking Fashion to a Ridiculous Level: Samsung SGH-G600 Belle
Is the cellphone market so dominated by men that cellphone manufacturers have to resort to silly marketing gimmicks to get women to buy their products? The Samsung SGH-G600 Belle comes in a pretty shade of mauve, and included in the box are three bottles of nail polish, one of which is in the same exclusive color as the phone. Okaaay... but as a woman I want to know how the phone stacks up to the competition.
