Blurring the Lines: Unusual Watches

After the excitement of CES 2008, I looked for more unusual watches that blur the lines between functionalities.

The Generic MP4/MP3 USB watch, as the name implies, is a watch and a 1GB mp3/mp4 player in one. The watch has a 1.5-inch OLED true color screen with 128 x 128 pixel resolution. It features five equalizer modes and Super Bass 3D Sound Effect playback modes. It supports MP3 and WMA audio formats; MP4 video format; JPEG image format; and it displays lyrics and picture. It provides up to 8 hours of music playback. Oh, yes... it shows the time and date too!

Never miss important shows, sporting events or news with the NHJ Wristwatch Television by NHJ USA, Inc. The 1.5-inch TFT color screen provides a crisp, clear picture. Fully charged rechargeable battery delivers up to one hour of viewing time, and the included docking station provides up to three hours of viewing. The TV captures all UHF and VHF channels (broadcast channels). When the unit is low on power, just plug in the AC adapter for unlimited viewing. Docking station, stereo headphones with built-in antenna and AC adapter are included.
